Dr. Garrett is from the land of princesses, Orlando, FL, which if you spend anytime with her, will quickly become obvious. She attended the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston for both her doctorate and residency. While in residency, she practiced at Herman Hospital, and UT’s special needs clinic. She had a wide exposure to just about every “special medical” need a child could have. Dr. Garrett worked with craniofacial patients from infancy through adolescence. In addition to her training with special needs children, and very apprehensive children, she has a huge heart for the community. Dr. Garrett has volunteered in many varied community events, such as “Give Kids a Smile Day” and the Special Olympics.
Dr. Garrett is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and participates professionally with many organizations promoting oral health in children.
Dr. Garrett is married. Her husband, Dr. Gomez is a general dentist. She and her husband love to run together and participate in running for causes. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, shopping, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
